Ocean Front Family Friendly Resort Vacation

Many thanks to the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida for hosting my family last week.  In this post, I’m sharing what we personally enjoy while visiting their ocean front family friendly resort vacation property.   This resort is like a cruise ship on land.  They offer everything!

First, you should know that we never left the property for the entire week.  They have everything you need on the resort property.  If you need a waterproof bandaid, a cheeseburger, a beach towel, a homemade waffle, swimming goggles – you name it they have it!  Besides the resort property being beach front, the convenience of it all is what we love the most about the Holiday Inn Resort.

The picture below is the ocean front deck also known as The Escape Deck where we ate dinner every night.

I mean…c’mon!  What more could you ask for from a Ocean Front Family Friendly Resort Vacation?

That stage is where they have live family-friendly performances and concerts almost every night.  We absolutely love the Polynesian show.  As with every show or concert, you can eat or drink while watching the entire show.  It’s such a fabulous set up as you’re watching a live show and the sunset at the same time.

Is this ocean front family friendly resort vacation calling your name yet?  It will – I can promise you that. It’s a magical place that all ages will enjoy.

Speaking of concerts…Y’all!  We met Bo Duke, as in John Schneider while we were there.  The concerts are free when you stay at the Holiday Inn Resort.  During the Summer they have a live concert series.  A different performer every week!

Speaking of eating…did you know that kids 12 & under eat free with a paying adult?

They serve everything right here at the resort.  Seafood, steaks, chicken tenders, salads, pizza, custom made omelettes – you name it.   It’s just so nice – to stay at the hotel & catch a show or concert all while eating our meals.

This is the same Escape Deck that is pictured above, but just changing direction & looking at the sunset.  As you can see, every seat is the best seat in the house.  There’s not one bad view.

Of course, there’s the main attractions = the pool & the amazing Gulf of Mexico beach.

Here’s Aqualand & my twins enjoying a big splash.   This area is right next to the pool, warming pool & hot tub.  Both young & old love this section.

The pool!!!  Ohmygoodness, I’m not sure which is more fun – pool by day or pool by night.

Pool by day, offers the sunshine, splashes, friends and all the swimming or floating anyone wants to enjoy.  Along with a live DJ in the pool area, with line dancing and watermelon eating.

Pool by night offers swimming, playing with friends and a “Dive-Inn” movie every night of the week! The beach & the ocean.  Y’all….ohmyheart!

If you come to swim in the ocean, lay on the beach or people watch – it’s all here for you.  We love every aspect of this beautiful ocean.  There’s never a bad beach day, right?

It’s hard to beat the sugar white sands and the aqua blue water in the Gulf of Mexico.  Panama City Beach is located in what they call the beautiful Emerald Coast section of Florida’s panhandle.  You can see your feet all the way to the bottom of the ocean.  The Holiday Inn Resort is one of our family’s favorite vacation spots.

We relax here, I feel my kids are safe here, we sure do eat well here, and most importantly –  we make fabulous memories here.
